Seeing a unique opportunity to introduce the latest technology to golf, VPAR has created the industry’s most cutting edge live golf scoring system for both the amateur and professional game.

The concept is simple. Each player scores their round on a handheld touch screen device and VPAR immediately calculates the net score and updates all live leaderboards instantaneously.

These live leaderboards can be viewed in real time on each handheld device, touch screens on the course, plasma screens in the clubhouse and live on the internet.

VPAR allows any golfer to experience the thrill of competition golf and is committed to making the game more exciting and enjoyable for golfers at all levels through live scoring.

We provide a full event service for corporate and competitive golf events.

Pre Event Set Up:

• One of the VPAR team will carry out a recce of the venue to familiarise themselves with the course and to look for optimum places to position the leaderboards
• Ahead of the event the course details, teams, players and handicaps are entered onto the VPAR system
• Prior to the event the position of the plasma screens both on the course and in the clubhouse will be decided
• Banners, logos and adverts displaying company branding are agreed before the event

Event Registration and Training:

• Players are registered and their details are checked – any changes can easily made on the administration interface before the round starts
• Players are given a device and a brief tutorial on how to use the system
• Depending on the format one device can be used to score up to 4 players or alternatively each player can have their own device

The VPAR Team:

• On the day, an experienced team of VPAR employees will arrive early to set up the equipment
• A welcome screen is displayed at the registration area showing all the teams, the player handicaps, what time the teams tee off and what hole they start from
• The VPAR team will register and train the players
• When the tournament starts, VPAR staff will be positioned on the course to answer any questions and ensure that the day runs smoothly
• After the event, all equipment is checked back in and the final leaderboard and list of winners is given to the host of the event
• There is a dedicated VPAR Team in Ireland ensuring a responsive, flexible and understanding support for all your live scoring needs.
